Julia Mear grew up in Devon. Her interest in photography began in her early twenties when she attended a photography course under Ron Frampton. She soon developed a passion for portraiture. The Marshwood Vale format allows her to capture with her camera something vital about each person, and tell in words their often very lively and unique stories.
